VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES — Seychelles is preparing to launch a major $2 billion financial initiative aimed at transforming three key sectors of its economy. The ambitious fund represents a significant economic development for the island nation and is expected to support strategic areas of national development. At the same time, Seychelles is strengthening its position within Africa's growing digital economy. The government has advanced regional economic integration by signing a digital trade corridor agreement under the African Continental Free Trade Area framework. The move could help deepen digital commerce and strengthen Seychelles' participation in Africa's emerging interconnected trading environment.
