ABUJA, Nigeria — The Nigerian government has announced a new digital innovation programme aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs, technology startups and small businesses across the country.
The initiative is expected to provide young Nigerians with access to digital skills training, mentorship, innovation resources and opportunities to develop technology-driven businesses.
Officials said the programme would focus on encouraging innovation, creating employment opportunities and helping young entrepreneurs participate more actively in Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
Technology and entrepreneurship stakeholders have welcomed the initiative, saying stronger support for young innovators could contribute to job creation and economic development.
