KIGALI — Rwanda is expanding its technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem with the opening of the Kigali Innovation City campus as part of an expanded national startup incubator programme.

The facility is expected to host three major international technology summits during the year, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and technology professionals.

Authorities see the initiative as an opportunity to attract international talent and strengthen Rwanda's transition toward a knowledge-based economy.

The expansion further reinforces Kigali's growing reputation as a regional centre for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
